Face!

Remember when "Face!" meant "hey, joke's on you!"  Wonder how in the world that verbal construction came about.   Doesn't really make sense.   In any case, "FACE" is the inspiration for today's "nifty niches".

#1 - "found faces" group on Flickr.  People who see faces in inanimate objects and taking charming photos of them and post here.  Love it.

#2 - International Association for Craniofacial Identification - people who put your face back together after you've been whacked by the mob.  Please note that there are sub-specialties even here, such as mummy facial reconstruction.

#3 - Prosopagnosia specialists - doctors who can help folks with this disorder where "where the ability to recognize faces is impaired, while the ability to recognize other objects may be relatively intact."  Can you imagine?  The brain is a wild and woolly thing, a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside a puzzle.
