Bess

Because I'll need to mail something Saturday in order to get a painting to my stepmom before Christmas (and for her, birthday on 12/24 too), I experimented with watercolor again last night - working to capture a bit of the wonderful noble spirit of her dog, Bess. (Luckily for me, I don't think she has any idea that I have a blog. Not a computer person. We finally have her checking email.)

Anyhow, it was fun although tricky working with a new medium. Here are the two efforts from last night. I might try another one tonight, but I think I like these both pretty well.
